Can you help us identify this silverware?

I am spending the day with my mother. We are talking about random stuff and going through some old stuff. We found the wedding gift she got from her mom. It was sent to my grandmother from my Grandfather from germany in the 1940s and is marked with WM Rodgers and son IS I know its silver because its way tarnished. We are thinking it is the rose pattern from 1909 due to the flowers in the middle of the silver. Just wondering if anyone has any more ideas on how we could make sure. Its not going any where since its a family piece we are just curious.
