How to remove tarnish from nickel?

Matt, I have never had the pleasure of cleaning one of those things but I have polished just about everything else. There was an excellent product called Haggertys 100, but now I can only get that through a jewelers web site and it is pretty expensive. I have though found another product available in supermarkets where I live. It is made by Wright's and is just called Wright's Brass Polish. It polishes pewter, brass, copper, chrome,bronze. I have even used it on silver which I know I shouldn't have,but it didn't hurt it or take any of the silver off. Now I know the Haggerty's 100 will polish some finishes right off so if you do come across it, read the label carefully before buying it. I remember in the instructions for that product, guns were listed as one of the things it did polish. So hope these helped.
